This drawing machine is build by Tristan Perich. The system is quite simple: a pen is controlled by 2 motors. The more tricky part is that those motors are controlled by a computer.
The outcome is actually very arty and probably taken more seriously as Hektor.

FORM US WITH LOVE is another swedish design studio, yeah they keep popping up like crazy. Anyway, they designed this series of products that you have build together yourself: Bendable Interior Objects (B.I.O.). Sheet material to 3D is definitely a trend.
