Crazy! Obama shoes?! The presidential race is a little bit too much for me these days. And I’m not even in the US.

wow. stepping on obama’s face is a bit weird… even if his likeness is left behind. i feel like Kennedy is the only other person I can compare with who’s had this much merchandise made in his likeness! and most of that was made after his assassination. oh yeah, and he was actually already President.

Wow! I can see how Al-Jazeera will love this one. Showing the soles of your shoe is rude and insulting in Islamic culture. Hmmm… Stepping on Obama’s face? Remember how the Iraqis swatted Saddam Hussain’s head with their shoes? Priceless.

Everyone is riding Obama’s wave. Everyone thinks they can put an image of Obama onto a piece of merchandise and suddenly they’ve made a statement. But really what are Nike’s values, especially when it comes to labor and employee welfare and what are Obama’s and do they connect? It’s all kind of self-serving. Kind of like all of the flag shops that opened after 9/11.
