i would like to know when these people will start to make diference betwen art and design.
this is not design at all. this sucks. in a garden i need a bank to seat.
it looks like vandalisme, not design..

Actually, the entire “art” rationale was merely a ruse. The City officials were looking for a way to keep the vagrants from sleeping on the benches. Unfortunately, the bums found a workaround — they jammed enough trash under both ends for support and then laid down for the night. In addition, some drunken men tried to play teeter-totter and one of them got a severe concussion. The pivot mechanism has since been welded in place and it now serves as a regular bench.
