October 30th, 2008Erik Natzke knows how to manipulate algorithms to generate his art. He actually uses Adobe Flash, which is quite impressive, although he could probably do it with any other tool. These works were done for the WIRED NextFest.

sieht ja schon schön aus. hat aber doch auch was vom bildschirmschoner.
(oder liegt´s an mir? geht das auch anderen so? also, dass man das eher als sinnfreie spielerei wahrnimmt?)

@ pieter: was genau meinst du? ich denke, dass das eher eine digitale fingerübung ist. oder die entwicklung einer technik/eines verfahrens mit dem dann aber noch was inhaltlich passieren muss. sonst ist es eben “nur” ornament. ohne inhalt.
