Given the platform I am presently using: I can only read the first one by pulling it into a graphic app and adjusting values. I can read the second one without that, but it takes considerable effort. The third is easy to read.
With some other platforms, all three would be readable without much effort; with still other platforms, all three would be unreadable short of modification.
Its a load of S### cause its impossible to read without a paint program. I thought maybe it was one of those pictures you stare at for 30 seconds then blink at the wall and see Jesus or something of that nature. So if you want to call this art think, can you print it out and it still be art or a worthless peice of black paper
—congratulations you are the millionth–>photoshop>adjust levels manually
—your day, your week, your month or even your year–>tilt yr monitor and see from an angle
—everything is important right now–>photoshop>adjust levels manually
Thats called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography and is really popular in hacking challenges.
ps Another possibility is: open the picture with paint or something like that and color(fill) the backround with an other color.

It says:
- the artist is a douche bag
- his words of insperation are meaningless
- I just wasted 5 minutes of my time

First one – had to take into Paint (no fancier programs here at work) and invert the colors…the other two were quite easy to read.
Is this more platform or monitor calibration?

More like a douchebag with a Mac who thinks he’s creating “art” that nobody can possibly in any other way but how it appears to him.
