Twentysix Abandoned Gasoline Stations

Eric Tabuchi photographed twentysix abandoned gasoline stations in France. He was inspired by “Twentysix Gasoline Stations” by Ed Ruscha, who travelled along Route 66 in the 60’s and made 26 photographs.

    Man, these are really nice. It’s also very timely to have documentation of these exhausted resources as a follow-up to artifacts of the booming auto industry of the 50s/60s.
