Life After Death Quilts by Anne Brenneke
February 25th, 2009These quilts are the graduation project “Life After Death” of Anne Brenneke. They feature 4 deceased rap legends: Eazy-E, The Norotious B.I.G., Big L and J Dilla. I think that these quilts are 10 times better than any fan poster or t-shirt!

Wow. You have some amazing textile skill. I am so impressed with how clearly these turned out. The eyes on J Dilla in specific are so, so beautifully done.

DId you use wax and dip into the colors or is this just a glorified quilt.
either way, sooo awesome. i did a biggie one kinda like this in high school, can’t even touch this one…

Great skill, but no Pac? I mean, in my humble opinion, the only rapper above that is better than Pac is Big L. All the above rappers are extraordinary but Pac deserves a quilt!
