Double Play
March 5th, 2009Doppio Gioco (= Double Play) is new table designed by 5.5 designers. It is part of a collection they did for coincasa, which will launch at the Milan design week in April. This table only has 2 legs, you can choose between a book stand, a birdcage or light stand to be the third one.

My brother made these, specifically in a crude style without any adornment, but it really also plays with this theme.

That book stand is at too acute an angle for me! Maybe I’d buy the birdcage one and string up a lightbulb in there?
