Interim Camp

March 17th, 2009

Interim Camp” is a 13 minute long animation by field. Their description:

Poor visibility; weather again unsettled today. Surreal rocks and riven lowlands, valleys fog-shrouded. Frightening depths, and emptiness. Rarity of air is noticeable. What are you looking for in this hostile stretch?

The constant transformation of the landscape shapes and their surfaces is based on generated motion sequences of drifting and constantly transforming surface structures, which were created with a custom generative software tool.

The shapes and colors are just amazing.

Domus Intersections

March 16th, 2009

These magazine spreads are from the march 2009 Intersections part of the Domus Magazine. The theme are the mechanisms, strengths, frailties and possible scenarios on the eve of Web 3.0.
onlab designed these pages, they wanted to create a tactile interaction by the reader. By folding the pages, 2 illustrations by Tobias Krafczyk appear: Miss & Mister Web 2.0. I don’t know if this is a new idea – print is not really my speciality, but it is very well executed.
