LED’s in Your Mouth
March 11th, 2009Daito Manabe is up to something new, you know his Electric Stimulus experiments right? This time he doing something with LED’s in his mouth. For now he just moves them around with his tongue. I don’t know what he’s planning but if he can hook them up to his Electric Stimulus … That would be great.
It seems like the LED’s are sound reactive in this second video.

EDIT:
Daito posted some more tests in his YouTube channel. Just keep an eye on it.
Goshka Macuga
March 11th, 2009Goshka Macuga was one of the 4 nominees for the Turner Price 2008. She presented these 3 installations called “Haus der Frau 1″, “Haus der Frau 2″ and “Deutsches Volk – deutsche Arbeit”, beside other work. They are based on the collaboration between Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich during the 20ies and 30ies. “Haus de Frau 1″ & “Haus der Frau 2″ are actually displays to present textiles, just like Mies van der Rohe & Lilly Reich did. “Deutsches Volk – deutsche Arbeit” was actually designed by Mies van der Rohe & Lilly Reich for an exhibtion to promote German glass.

In this video Goshka talks about her work and exhibition at the Tate Galery.

Moire
March 10th, 2009This short film by YouWorkForThem is called Moire. With this video they want to promote their stock motion collection titled … Moire. I think it looks more like a kaleidoscope with some moire effects, the patterns are great though.
Floating Roof House
March 10th, 2009I guess everyone is fed up with this years winter by now. Who wouldn’t like to live in the Floating Roof House by Tezuka Architects? That would be the ideal place to enjoy a nice spring / summer day.
