Perpetual Storytelling Apparatus
June 10th, 2009The Perpetual Storytelling Apparatus by Julius von Bismarck and Benjamin Maus, is a drawing machine illustrating a never-ending story by the use of patent drawings. It is connected to the internet where it can crawl through a database with over 7 million patents. The machine reads and translates those documents into drawings and looks for references to older patents to continue its story. You should watch the video on the website, the result is some sort of wallpaper for industrial designers and engineers.
