Self-Portrait Machine
July 3rd, 2009“Self-Portrait Machine” by Jen-Hui Liao (his website isn’t online yet) is a really cool drawing machine. The user places himself in front of the machine and a camera will take his portrait. Now he has to wrap his wrists to the machine while holding 2 markers. The machine will analyze the picture and translate it into mechanical movements to guide the hands of the user to make the drawing.
You can go and see it at the Royal College of Art SHOW 2009 in London till this Sunday.
