Continue Time Clock
July 16th, 2009This clock called “Continue Time” was designed by Sander Mulder. He connected the seconds hand to the minutes hand to the hours hand, the result is kinetic artwork that changes it shape continiously during a 12 hours rotation.
Of course, this isn’t a new clock concept, I’ve seen one before but it didn’t look so nice as this one with its open brass clockwork and aluminum hands. If you want a digital version, you should have a look at The Hand in Hand Clock by Johan Bisse Mattsson.

It would be pretty cool to attach a pencil to the second hand and let it illustrate what a days worth of time looked like in this format.

Stolen ideas should not be encouraged. This is a stupid, stolen idea since the “design” has nothing to do with the object in a case where the solution is everything. The only thing that could make this object a little interesting would be if i drew the 24 hours of a day.
G: you should just go ahead and do it before Sander reads this.
