The Facade of 10 Hills Place in London is very different than anything I’ve seen before. Hills Place is a very narrow street, so the architects at Amanda Levete Architects decided to cut open the facade and to install sky orientated windows to attract some daylight into the office spaces. I think it looks great with the aluminum skin.

Jessica Sofia Mitrani made a series of shoes called “In A Single Shoe”. Maybe it’s just a strange fetish I haven’t heard of till today.



Last Friday was the official start of the construction of the new Dutch Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. The new building was designed by Delugan Meissl Associated Architects and will be ready by the end of 2011. To celebrate this event, Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam and Theo Watson developed an augmented sand sculpture. It’s a 5 by 6 meters large scale model of the new building made with a material available at the construction site … sand.
