This is the Maserati Boomerang, a concept car from 1971. I don’t believe that current concept cars will look that fresh in 40 years. The Boomerang is a beast, just look at the wheels.

Funny! I had the top picture as my desktop background not to long ago. These vintage concept cars really were something else. It almost makes me angry that they didn’t go into production…

Reminds me of the Lancia Stratos Bertone Zero, a prototype that lead to the production model Lancia Stratos.

i saw this one at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance show in Como (northern Italy) a couple of times. Simply stunning!
