Viktor & Rolf Spring 2010
October 5th, 2009The last time I’ve showed you something form the Dutch fashion designers Viktor & Rolf, they added some 3D elements to their designs. But it seems like they’ve decided to work the other way around for the next season and to cut away some parts.

It all goes to show, once again, that no matter how debased fashion was last year it can always become more deeply rotten the next.

Good Christ – and as Van der Leun put it, no wonder fashion models have that look on their faces. Nihilism seeks new nadirs.

Their latest 2010 collection is called “Budget-cut-Couture, that´s why some “cuts” were made.
Fact is “Victor & Rolf” made fashion fun and interesting again, after commercialism and the so called celebs in Hollowwood took over.
Watch some of their previous shows on the Tube and see.
We are all fashion victims.

It’s a long time I’m a fan of Essimar’s palette (graphic design on Etsy). I was surprised when I saw this s/s 2010 V&R collection because the palette is so similar!

I love this concept for some reason! No idea why but the sheer thought that went behing this is genius, very unwearable but isn’t that what the catwalk is about? It certainly got the tongues wagging and love it or hate it, you’re in one camp or the other. I love it!
