Netherlandish Proverbs
January 4th, 2010“Netherlandish Proverbs” is a famous painting by Pieter Bruegel the Elder. There are 100 literal renditions of Flemish proverbs in this painting. But I must say that I really like this version by Alex Delany and Katie Widloski (ok, maybe not the music).

Obviously, the music should be Fleet Foxes. They used a detail from this painting in their eponymous 2008 album.
