Last nights SPEED SHOW: YOUR BROWSER IS MY KINGDOM was a lot of fun. I would like to thank all of you who came out to see the works despite the bad weather. Of course there wouldn’t be a SPEED SHOW if there weren’t the great online artists and Aram Bartholl, who came up the the SPEED SHOW concept.

Absolut Net.Art

How would an Absolut Vodka ad made by an net.artist look like when they’re imitating the styles of other net.artists? That’s what Eryk Salvaggio asked himself and some net.artists. Thanks to Rhizome, this project Absolut Net.Art from 2001 is preserved for us to enjoy. Here are 3 of my favorites.

Twitter SK8 was an interactive installation by Jodi during their WEBCRA.SH/2900 event. They build wireless SK8boards which were connected to a live Twitter account. The tweets are just awesome.
