A few months ago, Felice Varini had an exhibition at the Gallery Römeraphotheke in Zürich, Switzerland. He created a new piece on-site called “Clin d’oeil à l’angle”. The graphic forms in his installations can only be seen from one exact viewpoint. If you don’t know what I mean: have a look here.
“Clin d’oeil à l’angle” is just a little different than his other pieces, this time you had to look at it in a mirror.
Last summer, Felice Varini did this installation called “Cercle et suite d’éclats” in Vercorin, Switzerland. The scale of this point of view artwork is very impressive.
Georges Rousse is a French photographer and installation artist. He paints geometric shapes in abandoned places and photographs them afterwards, just have look at these images.
This is the trailer of Bending Space, a documentary on Georges Rousse and the project he did in Durham, North Carolina.
If you liked his work, you’ll want to see Felice Varini‘s too.
These 2 photos were made by Bernard Voïta and you should have a very good look at them. It’s all about the perspective, they actually remind me of Felice Varini. It’s basically the same principle but with physical objects. If Bernard Voïta would have made them one step to the left or right, they would look totally different.
You can see more of his work in his book White Garden.
(It’s almost impossible to find any info on him.)
Bela Borsodi is an Austrian photographer with an amazing portfolio, he has a lot of fresh ideas to photograph product. This series called ‘Welcome to V’ is a wonderfull combination of photography, fashion and Felice Varini like artwork.

Felice Varini is one of my favorite modern artists. His work is based on the principle of anamorphosis.
The “Galerie Xippas” project from 2004 shows what he exactly does.
It’s all about “Point of View” … which is also the title of a book of him. The cover is like a piece of art itself.
