This is the artwork for the album Mänskligheten of the Swedish electronic music project Familjen. It was a collaboration between the photographed Erik Wåhlström and the graphic design studio Bergen. The music of Familjen is not my cup of tea, but the Swedish singing sounds funny. This artwork is more my thing.

If you’re into pixel art you’ve probably heard of eBoy, they create the most amazing pixels worlds. Together with Delicious Toys they’ve developed a very nice iPhone/iPod Touch game called FixPix. It doesn’t have a revolutionary gameplay, they’ve sliced up their artwork into different layers and you have to put them back together by tilting you iPhone. Unfortenatly the app isn’t available yet, but this preview video made by Filip of CreativeApplications will give you a good idea what to expect.

Hubero Kororo designed this interactive CD cover for the band Uceroz. When you open the CD packaging on the side, ink is set free and bleeds into the cover of the CD. I really like this idea.

The quotes on these billboards are from the emails Tim Rehm and Tim Sürken wrote to and received from clients during their freelance work at HORT. They then made these billboards for an exhibition called “hier und anderswo” at the MARTa Herford museum last summer.

“Ogenblik Geduld A.u.b.” is a Dutch and means something like “a moment, please”, it’s also a series of typographic experiments by HOAX. They’ve used everyday materials found around the house to build installations. The idea was to find a way to use the most basic elements of programming, namely on/off.
Very cool stuff!
