This pattern brings back some good old memories of the one year that I studied in Milan, Italy. I rode a train to the university with this pattern on the seats almost every day. It was a great year … Actually I will probably visit Milan this year on my way south to Umbria, I’m really looking forward to it.

Nike+ is running (lol) this new campaign “Nike+ New Year’s Resolution”. The users are challenged to say how much miles they will run in January and what they will do when they don’t keep their resolution. Ofcourse there are some clips to illustrate this: “Become nosehairless”, “Skate like a princess”, “Bob for lobsters” or this one … “Ride Helga”.
Actually, my new year’s resolution is to run the Berlin half marathon on April 1st, no joke!

Sometimes it’s just that simple.
I’m actually quite notorious for the way I wrap gifts. My style is somewhere between a supermarkets plastic bag and a newspaper wrap. Maybe it’s just to camouflage my inability to wrap something nice and tidy. Now Apple comes to rescue (only in the US though), for $ 5 you get an apple-quality-origami-style wrap for that iPod you actually rather have yourself.
Today was not just an average day.
1. Lance Armstrong congratulated me ‘personally’ after my first 30 minutes workout with my Nike+ iPod sport kit.
2. I had my first driving lesson, ok 10 years later as most people, but still, I had to drive down the Karl-Marx-Allee in Berlin.
3. This is my 500th post.

Hey, we’re just back from our holiday in Belgium. It was a real relaxing time, no driving through Belgium to visit anyone, just a week at the coast.
