Papier Bags by Saskia Diez
March 2nd, 2009This collection of bags, called Papier (= paper), was actually designed by Stefan Diez for Saskia Diez, his wife who designs really nice jewelery. They are made from the same material, Tyvek®, as his other bags A1 & A2. It is a synthetic paper made from PE which is extremely tearproof, lightweight, waterproof and recyclable. Like most bags, they become nice after some wear and tear.

Papier A1 & A2 Bags
December 17th, 2008Papier A1 & Papier A2 are 2 bags designed by Stefan Diez for Authentics. They are made of the synthetic paper Tyvek®, it just looks and feel like real paper. It’s supposed to be very durable, water-resistant and dirt-proof as well. After intense use, Papier can be recycled completely as PE.

Louis Vuitton x Comme des Garçons

Louis Vuitton and Comme des Garçons openend a pop-up store in Tokyo last week. This means of course that they will sell exclusive products like this multi-handle bag. It reminds me of Rodolphe Dogniaux his design for the ‘Prix Emile Hermes’.

October 8th, 2007
I always thought that Louis Vuitton was a brand with brown stuff for old, rich ladies. I guess I was wrong. Bring on spring summer 2008, I want to see girls with these outfits. More at Iconique.
