An online mp3 player that pops up the websites of Kanye’s favorite brands in real time as he raps them. Hip-hop Pop-Up is a data visualization of the product placement in Kanye’s new album, Graduation, and offers a glimpse at a potential trajectory of the current state of main stream rap music.
This video, ‘Anchorsong with String Quartet – Breathe Breathe Me‘, is just amazing. Live sampling at its best! Eat that Jeff Mills!
Anchorsong is the solo project by Masaaki Yoshida from Tokyo, Japan.
He creates muisic with AKAI MPC2000XL and KORG Triton right in front of the audience.
Some people say, “To see that he constructs a song little by little on the stage, reminds me of a painter drawing on a white canvas.”
This time, he collaborated with amazing string quartet.
You can see more of his videos on YouTube.
As a bonus, watch this video of DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist & DJ Numark jamming on their samplers.

Zach Galifianakis, a comedian, made an alternative music video for Kanye West’s song ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothin’. It actually way better than the original, fortunately Kanye was cool about it and posted it on his website. Go and watch it at Kanyes site (flash video) or here (quicktime)!
EDIT: Kanye West actually asked Zach Galifianakis to lip sync his video.
So Soulja Boy and Arab finally released their official *Underground Music Video* for their track called “I Got Me Some BAPES”. It’s pity it isn’t as good as this home video.
Nike is playing it really big with the 25th anniversary of the Air Force 1. Ofcourse they did a commercial full with pathos, they hired Just Blaze (one of the hottest hiphop producers at the moment) and Juelz Santana to do the music.
So here is the video.
Of course there’s a behind the scenes video too … here.
If you still can’t have enough of it … you can make your own mashup and share your masterpiece with the whole world: Nike AF25 Videocard.

The Beaste Boys made some a cappella’s available to the public so that remixers can do their thing. Unfortunatly I’m not really that gifted to do something with them but I guess a lot of people out there are.
