The British fashion designer Gareth Pugh designed this Christmas tree for Topshop‘s Oxford Circus flagship store in London. Better than the real thing if you ask me.

Papertrail is a paper lamp by Jón Björnsson, a student at the Design Academy Eindhoven (The Netherlands). You can buy it as a finished product, a DIY version or a downloadable construction drawing.

I really like styrofoam as a material, well actually it is Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Foam. This lamp called Flake was designed by Anne Boenisch.
This lamp is part of the DMY Asia Exhibition Tour 2008. So if you are in Taiwan, Taipei, Tokyo or Seoul in the coming weeks, you should go and see the work of 18 Berlin based designers.

‘La Placette‘ is a showcase in Lausane, Switzerland. Each month an artist is invited to do something based on the previous work displayed. I really like this concept to present art.
