A few months ago, Felice Varini had an exhibition at the Gallery Römeraphotheke in Zürich, Switzerland. He created a new piece on-site called “Clin d’oeil à l’angle”. The graphic forms in his installations can only be seen from one exact viewpoint. If you don’t know what I mean: have a look here.
“Clin d’oeil à l’angle” is just a little different than his other pieces, this time you had to look at it in a mirror.

The digital canvas is my canvas of choice. Kim Si Nae thinks so too and made a series of Browser Abstracts. The artworks are made inside a web browser, java applets are loaded inside frames. They aren’t just static compositions but each frame flickers nervously. You can see 2 examples here.

Fragments of RGB is an interactive installation by onformative. The classic LED screen as a medium was simulated and disintegrated by the creation of a pixel-like LED optic with the ability to change and transform with the viewer’s movement and, hence, his perspective and point of view.

“Right” is an animated gif composition by noisia. It’s made of 7 different animated gifs layered over each other. Mesmerizing!

Window Control is Johannes P. Osterhoff his latest interface art piece. It’s a portrait of Steve Jobs made with aqua interface elements.
