Every design starts on a piece of paper and often those ideas get visualised by a paper model. The look an feel of those paper model was the basic idea behind The Cut Series, a collaboration between Daniel Enoksson, Lucas E Hinnerud and Jens Boldt. They’ve designed tables, a shelf and a sideboard which look like paper models but are made of aluminum.

“Mat, Satiné, Brillant” is the title of the Maison Martin Margiela installation in Milan. It is the introduction of the Maison Martin Margiela furniture collection and interior design and architecture services. The installation is an exact reproduction of the Interior Design workshop of the Paris Headquarters, where all stores, showrooms, and architectural projects are conceived.
I think most of it is very average. The trompe l’oeil doors, the table made of many trestles and the shelves made of brackets (in the second photo) are the best items.

Do Not Touch by Daniel Eatock.
5 pine planks (each 6 feet), 5 metal brackets, tools and materials from the gallery utility closet or found on the gallery grounds. Each of the five shelves that comprise this work is balanced on a single bracket. All maintain their level balance by the precise placement of the objects they bear.
