“Mat, Satiné, Brillant” is the title of the Maison Martin Margiela installation in Milan. It is the introduction of the Maison Martin Margiela furniture collection and interior design and architecture services. The installation is an exact reproduction of the Interior Design workshop of the Paris Headquarters, where all stores, showrooms, and architectural projects are conceived.
I think most of it is very average. The trompe l’oeil doors, the table made of many trestles and the shelves made of brackets (in the second photo) are the best items.

I quite like the simplicity of Collection One by Hundredstenunits. I really would like to know how they fitted the LED’s into that lamp.

Doppio Gioco (= Double Play) is new table designed by 5.5 designers. It is part of a collection they did for coincasa, which will launch at the Milan design week in April. This table only has 2 legs, you can choose between a book stand, a birdcage or light stand to be the third one.

Screw Table by Tom Dixon. Made from a cast iron tripod base with a white marble top. The industrial strength of the aluminium screw allows for multiple heights by simply spinning the top.

This table and chair are designed by the French designer Philippe Nigro. They were introduced during the exhibition “Design Available for Production” oganised by VIA. The table is called “Universal Base”, its name and the pictures explain everything I guess. You can just clamp any board to the legs, its width, length or thickness can be variable. The chair (or chairs) is called “Twin Chair”. Very nice work!

Schemeta Architecture Office took an old antique table and made the surface flat again with neon pink epoxy. Some parts are transparent, others aren’t. I would have picked an other color though, some nice grey tone maybe.
