+/- hot plate

January 29th, 2009

Ami Drach & Dov Ganchrow came up the “+/- hot plate”. They silk-screened gold or Amorphic Metal films onto ceramic plates. If you connect the to an electric source, the current will run through the pattern on the plate and keep the food warm. But why would you want to eat warm chocolate mouse?

Shadow

September 25th, 2008

Thomas Coccimiglio is one of the six graphic designers who were asked to design graphical objects for the exhibition called ‘From Graphic Subject To Graphic Object‘. One of his designs is this object called ‘Shadow’. It perfectly fits this definition:
The graphical object is not a design object. It doesn’t serve a purpose but offers multiple uses.

You can visit this exhibition in Brussels, Belgium, till Oktober 11th.
