This is the 2009 showreel for Easyweb, a French company specialised in video projection on buildings and 3D objects. Quite impressive!
Reuben Sutherland printed some short video clips on vinyl, just a few frames. Then he plays them with his turntable and films it again to use in his VJ work. The effect is quite good. VinylVideo is some other project where they really encoded video in the vinyl grooves, even more impressive.

This is a Light Sculpture by AntiVJ, a visual label. These projections on 3D objects are really neat! It was on display during Transmediale 2007, a festival for art and digital culture in Berlin. The sculpture itself, ‘Halbzeug’, was made by visomat inc. You probably want to check Pablo Valbuena’s work too if you like this.

Karl Klomp is a Dutch media-artist – vj – theater technician. He knows how to modify video hardware and even build it from scratch. The output: glitch art.

But also hardware tools like this ‘Minimal Video Mixer’. Pure hardware porn.

‘Early Abstractions’ (1946 – 1957) by Harry Everett Smith. Part 3 is my favorite.
